Script Cmd: NEWMON

NEWMON [-A:B:b:p:uvw:] {target_ip_address} {binary_boot_image_file}

This command allows the user to transfer a new monitor binary boot image to a MicroMonitor based target. This command is only applicable with targets running MicroMonitor, and the act of replacing the boot image is dangerous, so make sure you know what you're doing!

Options:

-A {apprambase}   by default, newmon uses "$APPRAMBASE"; this option allows this to
                  be bypassed.

-B {bootrombase}  by default, newmon uses "$BOOTROMBASE"; this option allows this
                  to be bypassed.

-b {flash bank}   by default, newmon flash bank zero; this option allows this to
                  be bypassed.

-p {port_no}      by default, newmon uses UDP port 777; this allows the user to
                  override that.
-u                issue 'flash unlock' prior to sector modification.
-v                turn on verbosity.
-w {seconds}      by default moncmd will wait 5 seconds for a response; this allows
                  the user to override that. A value of zero here tells newmon not to
                  wait at all.

Note that this command is only useful with systems running MicroMonitor.
