Mutuality

In life there are many people with artistic talent but few who take the time to develop the talent and become artists.  Many people have poetic notions but few become poets.  In business it is the same.  Only few people develop their business ideas and become entrepreneurs.  Few become the business genius and without them there would be little growth or progress.  Those with creative ideas are rewarded for their genius in capitalistic countries with wealth.  If that were all there was to it we would all be elitists.  We would say to hell with everybody else. Only the genius is important.  The author, Ayn Rand, was of this opinion.  Yet it is the laboring man who makes the conceptions of the genius possible.  Without chemists, engineers, carpenters, and all other laboring people, the genius would experience no substance to his ideas.   Ideas must be en-fleshed to produce results.  We need to recognize the mutuality and the togetherness aspect of life to foster respect for people with different levels of talent.   It is by appreciating differences without degrading one or the other that makes businesses and people succeed.  Be a team player and avoid jealousy or conceit and everyone can move forward both at work and at home as well.
