| The Lord is my hiding place A shelter in time of distress I go to him for protection And peace comes like a river When trials attempt to shake my confidence It is He who restores my trust He is my shade and comfort My buckler and shield He is my hiding place A shelter in time of need So I walk by faith And not by sight And rest in calm assurance That my God will never leave nor forsake But will counsel and guide And be my deliverer and friend So whatever the test Whatever the trial I am never alone And I am at peace Knowing that God is there Seeing me through every situation And I am glad Amen |
