Don't be afraid
Don't be frightened
Though the winds are picking up
Though perils are all around
God is in control
God will not leave you nor forsake you
He is your buckler and shield
Gather up yourselves
And enter the sacred place
Enter into your closet
And begin to pray
Enter into that holy place
That place of tranquility and peace
And begin to live in God
Where all is safe and secure
Where there is neither trial nor test
Only the presence of God
Begin to live in freedom
Begin to live in joy
Find your hiding place
Your place with God
And all fear will flee
All doubt depart
And faith will rise
And hope abound
As you place yourself in Him
Though evil is coming
Though storms are in the forecast
It will not touch you
It will not do you any harm
Because you have made El Shaddai
Your home
And Jesus your friend
So be still and know that He is God
Be still and do not be afraid
The enemy can do you no harm
As you dwell under the shadow of the Almighty
