child, Grace and peace be multiplied as you spend time with me in the word and pray without ceasing. It is good that my beloved spend time with me. When you do, the unction of my Spirit permeates your very being and the truth of my word saturates your soul and my joy radiates to all around. How else will others know the depths of my love and the shallowness of the world. It is as you abide in me and my word abides in you that the world can see as in a mirror the glory that I possess. So do not trust in riches and the false promises that the world gives, but wholly lean on Me. As you do I will burn up the dross as a wick in a candle until there remains nothing of the old man and only a flame of fire which is My Spirit. Remain in me and I in you and like Joseph you will receive double for all your trouble. Stay the course. For the new day is fast approaching and the world will be dissolved and melt with fervent heat. Do not be deceived. There are many false prophets about who preach the gospel for riches and parade as angels of light. Do not be deceived. Only those who have died to the flesh and to the world and seek only the glory of God are true witnesses. Only those who fellowship in my suffering will share in my resurrection. Keep yourselves from idols. Amen |
