Mediocrity won’t do
The mold is Jesus Christ the Lord
It is the wonderful plan you drew

Take all the time you need
I wish to be like the Holy One
A plant produced from His Seed
 
Lord you have in mind the finished product
We in His image are made
To love and trust and humbly obey
It is my hope to make the grade
 
How else can you explain the test
Where many are called but few be chose
Where suffering and trials play their part
And the saints of God arose
 
I offer to you my life this day
Do with me whatever you will
I am a living sacrifice
A body that God can fill
 
So it is the finished product you desire
Whatever may come my way
I give you everything I have
Let me not fall short I pray
