Sing A Song
5/26/2014
By George Poulo
Sing the song of my
redeemer and king
His body and blood a
ransom for sin
From the rooftops let
the message ring
Loud and clear for
the lost to win
Sing the song of love
in sweet surrender
To the one whose life
was a perfect example
Of obedience to the
Father both meek and tender
Where healing the
sick was just a sample
Within the heart let
the melody ring
Praise for the one
who died on a tree
With the gospel in
hand and hope let us bring
Salvation to all,
setting the captive free
The treasure once
hidden, now is found
In Christ, the
kingdom of God arrives
Share with others,
let them hear the sound
Of victory over
death, he is alive!
A pearl of great
price is Jesus my Lord
He is destined to
save by the blood he bore
Worth more than all
this world can afford
Buy it with your life
and with love adore
So sing a song of
Christ my Savior
The wisdom of God,
both mercy and grace
For more than silver
and gold, let us labor
But for the one who
saved the human race
Let us sing
amen
