When being with that person Makes you happy for no other reason Than you are with that person Makes you excited Like a child You speak fast and ramble You search for things to say Just to engage in conversation And you know you appear foolish And you can not help yourself You wish to appear Calm, cool, and collected But you know you don't Yet you don't want that reaction To leave Because that is what makes the person Special How do you know someone is special? When what attracts you to that person Is spiritual more than physical You want to make that person happy Because when they are happy They just glow And somehow You don't know why You are the person who makes them happy How do you know someone is special? When that person can look Right through you And you are read like an open book And they are pleased With what they see And they know you In an instant And it makes them Smile That's how you know! |
