More than riches,
more than fame More than health, and more than worldly gain Desire to be touched, desire to be known Desire to have a purpose, desire to be heavenly grown Changed the course of destiny and did so much more Then school and sports and secular books Without a word, without a thought of how one looks Rather than a mission and a higher estimation The touch propelled me to share his passion And my life resembled a most undesirable fashion My life a sacrifice, a pitiable seed From all appearances it made no sense Complete submission, not sitting on the fence Far less, for the experience of second birth It took years for me to be made free But now my rewards are great and a joy to be A child of God and part of the great jubilee It may come in or out of season It does not matter if you're ready God will upset the cart then make you steady Pray most of all to receive God's favor And receive a touch that will shake what can be shaken Only to find that in the rapture you will not be forsaken and oh the joy that fills my soul Amen |
