Beneath the veil what treasures lie Wisdom, truth, and knowledge too Yet many could not see beyond His flesh and uncover Christ's divinity true He seems just human to the lost Yet displays great power too They could not comprehend the one Who became a servant To redeem his own at any cost To see beyond the flesh takes courage To forsake the world and self deny To humbly see the need for one On whose purity we can rely And the cross for sin supplied His flesh the test His love the best To see with heart And not the head Only those in need Could overcome The contradiction Of the Son Both God and man The victory won Beneath the veil Both Father and Spirit do prevail But to go beyond the flesh Takes faith and love and hope And to all the questions cope By trusting one's heart not head And seeing him who died instead And gave his life a ransom for all To show his love and hear his call Redemption's story Christ for all!
