Christ be before me My future is bright My hope is secure Christ is my light With Him to endure Christ be behind me My past now clean My sin under the blood On Christ I can lean He comes in like a flood Christ be above me Sitting together in heavenly places Christ with the Father remains I have access to all graces With His Spirit He now sustains Christ be below me He has conquered death and hell No fear of what's to be My life for all eternity will tell The Savior's love for me Christ be within me Christ does not dwell in human tents But in our hearts resides It's not the product of human sense It is the Spirit that now confides We can look forward We can look back We can look up We can look down We can look within Because Christ has become our light.
