A Christmas Message
12/18/2012
By George Poulo

Jesus is a mystery
He is unknown to most
He operates from the Spirit
And calls down the heavenly host

The disciples did not have a clue
Yet followed Him in trust
They could not grasp His way of life
But pondered as they must

His goal to reach Gethsemane
Then up to Calvary’s cross
No one could deter his goal
To die and suffer loss

Yet on the way he healed the sick
And brought to life the dead
He even fed five thousand
With two fish and five loaves of bread

He had no quarrel with the lost
But argued with the best
Who could not comprehend a love
That brought forgiveness to the rest

Born in a manger in Bethlehem
It was a humble start
No room for the Son of God
Is there some in your heart?

Offer Him your life today
Only faith can get you there
It is the Father’s hope for all
To receive an eternal share

This Christmas come to Christ the Lord
Make Him your heavenly friend
It takes a life to comprehend the One
Who loved you to the end

Merry Christmas
