He stays within the boundaries
Of peace, safety, and security
Only to find
Fear, insecurity, and doubt
Not knowing
That only in leaving behind
The world of illusion
Is true freedom attained

Unless we are willing to forsake all
Unless we are willing to venture into the unknown
Unless we are willing to take God at his word
We are doomed

It is only in taking the risk
It is only in walking by faith
It is only in becoming uncomfortable
That we enter
The Spirit
And receive eternal life

God calls us to leave it all behind
And follow Him

Are you willing to take the risk?
And find Him who is the way, the truth, and the life

It is the only thing that pleases God
It is the only thing that prevails
It is the only thing that gains the victory

I pray you take the risk
And walk by faith
