The intuition of the rebel is right The practical application is wrong Only in Christ is true freedom possible To love everyone is gospel To lust is sin Unless you crucify the flesh It is not of God but of the devil To be unattached is freedom To be unattached without God is despair With God detachment leads to appreciation From the smallest to the greatest If we do not detach We miss simple beauty And life that is all around To see with the eyes of a child is enlightenment To never grow up is foolishness Only by living does one grasp the essence of life But to fail to repent is death To live without law is freedom To live without law without God is anarchy Only by trusting the inner witness can we gain life Only by losing our life can we save it To stay under law is death Heaven is all that we intuit Yet it does not begin when we are dead Heaven begins when we live in the Spirit When love is our only motivating force If you ever thought there must be more to life than keeping the rules Then what you thought was right What you did not grasp was how to get there Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life The religious didn't get it The rebel did Be a Kingdom Rebel and live for God!
