The kingdom of God is within you And when that kingdom shines People will be drawn to you Like a magnet Cultivate silence Silence with God And that silence Will shout louder Than the roar of the ocean Discipline your life Eat, sleep, and pray regularly Fast only as the Spirit leads And do not live in stress Look, watch, listen Let nature speak her mystery Go to the mountain to pray There is wisdom in the rose Still the soul Let thoughts go Until there is inner quiet God speaks in a still small voice Forsake the world Detachment leads to awareness With awareness comes appreciation You miss what you do not see Change yourself By letting God Change you We all need to change Find a center And stay in peace Recognize disquiet And return to your center Live in the Spirit And life will take on new meaning And Christ will make you free And a blessing to all you meet Amen |
