Step outside the box
Venture into uncharted waters
Move outside your upbringing
Cast aside the routine
And go beyond
Go beyond culture and mores
Go beyond habit and comfort
And receive the Spirit
Commune with nature
Commune with silence
Intentionally seek God
And go beyond
Jesus challenges us to forsake the world
To seek first the kingdom
To seek first the Spirit
To seek first his righteousness
And you will receive all else
It is there you will find fulfillment
It is there you will find purpose
It is there you will find your destiny
The kingdom is not of this world
So unless you go beyond
You will never find it
It remains hidden to the fearful and unbelieving
It remains hidden to the selfish and egotistical
It remains hidden to the proud and arrogant
But to the humble and meek
But to the lowly and destitute
The kingdom represents the way out of chaos and uncertainty
It is the way out of meaninglessness and despair
It is the way out of darkness and alienation
Jesus is the door to the kingdom
And he stands at the door of your heart
Knocking
Open the door and let him in
Open the door and go beyond
It is the way to eternal life
