Find your path
Spirituality may not be conformity
God’s relationship with us is personal
Learn from the wind
We do not know where it comes from
We do not know where it goes
So is everyone born of the Spirit
Fear is a great hindrance
Rather than venturing out
We follow convention
We follow Law
We are drawn by effort and will
And we get stuck
We stay in the same place treading water
And wonder where God is
We are changeless
And nothing changes
What started out fresh has become stale
We are lost in the sea of thoughtlessness
A sea of repetition and routine
And God remains silent
Examine yourself
Where have you grown?
Where is your faith?
Are you free?
Or are you another cookie in the mold?
Get in touch with God
Get in touch with the Spirit
Get in touch with the wind
And find your path
Stretch your wings and fly!
