God fulfill every good purpose, every act
prompted by faith.
2Thes1:11b Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain in what we cannot see. As we enter the spiritual realm through faith and the grace of God, it becomes apparent that we have work to do. We must begin to learn how to live by faith. Unless we do we will not accomplish what God wants us to accomplish either for ourselves or those for whom we minister. Our lifestyle must change. We must become students of the word of God, forsake the world, mortify the deeds of the flesh, and love as best we can. We must learn to walk by faith and not by sight and we must take a different approach to money and riches. That is a lifetime challenge. That is why our approach should be ever increasing faith, moving in a direction that enables us to do the things God wants us to do and overcoming the challenges and obstacles that the flesh, the world, and the devil throw at us. Jesus tells us in Mk11:23 that if we say to the mountain be thou cast into the sea and not doubt what we say, that the mountain will move and we shall have what we say. The mountains may be sickness, poverty, conflicts in relationships, natural occurrences like the weather, dealing with the flesh, or other challenges the enemy might throw at us. If we are sure of what we hope for, certain in what we cannot see, God can fulfill every act prompted by faith because it is faith that pleases God. Ever increasing faith means that as our faith increases, the mountains, which once appeared so great, begin to diminish. As our faith increases, we become more sure of what we hope for and more certain in what we cannot see. Faith diminishes mountains. Faith believes that nothing is impossible with God. Faith believes that the name of Jesus is above every other name. Faith begins to talk to the difficulties, the challenges, and the problems believing what we say shall come to pass. We begin to thank God in all things. We praise Him for his goodness and power. We rejoice in the Lord and in the power of His might. We see challenges as opportunities for victory in battle and we do not retreat but meet the challenge head on. Our enemy is not flesh and blood but principalities and powers. Jesus is the head of every principality and power and we are complete in Him. Jesus won the victory on the cross, in his life, in his resurrection and ascension. Believe it! Walk by faith and not by sight. Don’t take in an evil report. Jesus is our answer to the problems of this world and he is the gateway to victory and eternal life. Ever increasing faith means we begin to live in the glory. We begin to live under the anointing of God. That the God who dwells above we meet the God that dwells within and we shall live in victory, power, and authority. Let the game begin! Amen |
