And you are complete in him, which is the head of every principality
Man is not born full or complete.
We are all in lack and need of many things. That is the
reality. In Jesus all the fullness of the Godhead abides.
It is this fullness which he wants to impart to us. He does this
through being born again and Spirit-filled. St. Paul has prayed
that we might be filled with all the fullness of God. To be full
or complete is to have no lack…no lack of the spirit, no lack of the
soul, no physical lack, no financial lack, and peace in
relationships. Completeness gives us victory. We must
strive for completeness. When we are complete, we, like Jesus,
become the head of every principality, every authority, and
power. Not only are we blessed, we have the ability to bless
others. We have power to cast out sickness, disease, evil
spirits, poverty, and lack. It is this fulfillment that God wants
for his people. How do we get there? And power Col2:10 Take a personal inventory. We must deal with sin. We become righteous by faith, faith in Christ, his blood, his life, his sacrifice and atonement. We must receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We must forsake the world. We must spend quality time with God. We must pray for wisdom, understanding, and discernment. We must learn to live by faith. We must get out from being under the law and live under grace. We must get free. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. The flesh profits nothing. It is the Spirit that gives life. My words are spirit and they are life. Be a student of the word. Speak the word. Confess the word. Live the word. Obey the word. It will make you free. Deal with the flesh. Anger, fear, jealousy, hatred, lust, lying and stealing must depart. If we do those things then not only will you be born again, not only will you be Spirit-filled, you will become filled with all the fullness of God. You will become complete. You will become strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. You will be strengthened with all might in the inner man. You will be strong and courageous. You will be a sign to the world of the things not seen, a person of faith. God is able to meet all our needs in Christ. Do not look at the facts. Do not look at natural circumstances. Take no thought for tomorrow. Let go of the past. Let go of your own self perception. See yourself as God sees you. See yourself as the head and not the tail. See yourself as above and not beneath. See yourself as a kingdom person with power and authority, a person who is more than a conqueror through Christ. Act from faith and not from fear. Speak only the truth. Live in God. Love never fails. Be a person of love. God wants us to be complete. Strive for completeness. It is His will for you. Amen |
