Death reigned from Adam to Moses but not like Adam's transgression. 1John3:4 Sin is the transgression of the law Adam sinned by disobeying the word of God. From Adam to Moses: God is silent. How did they sin? How did they die? 2. "Whatsoever is not of faith is sin" Rm14:23 When Adam sinned He became afraid. "And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."Gen3:10 3. "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him." Hb11:5-6 4. "The wages of sin is death" Rm6:23 Death entered through the transgression of the word of God. Death reigned from Adam To Moses, not because they sinned like Adam, but because they feared. Enoch pleased God because he did not fear. 5. Fear is a killer. Fear, stress, anxiety, tension, and worry will kill you as readily as Transgressing the law. We must rid ourselves of fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. It is a sin and the wages of sin is death. How do we overcome Fear? By faith. 6. "Be strong and of good courage." Joshua 1:6 "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to the law..." Joshua 1:7 7. "Faith (the opposite of fear) comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Rm10:17 8. We speak faith into existence and put our words into action. We must bind the spirit of fear through the spoken word and act on our faith. Faith is belief in action. If we do we will prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers. 3Jn2 |
