With it no man need teach Without it no man can reach With it wisdom doth abide Without it under rocks one hides With it God is real Without it humanity doth steal With it faith resounds Without it sin abounds Nothing more precious and rewarding Then having the witness of the anointing More precious than the finest gold The gift the telling be told To overcome the lust of the flesh And walk in the Spirit bold It is the source of all the gifts And to the sick and sinner lifts Do not underestimate its worth There is nothing greater on this earth Christ came with love the power to give To overcome the world and in the Spirit live Seek it and you will find Living of a different kind Nothing more precious and rewarding Then having the witness of the anointing So deny yourself and forsake The world and take All that Christ wishes to make In you By giving you The anointing The witness of God within And a witness to the world around Of the love of God And peace and joy And fulness and contentment Forever more Amen |
